Nov 11,  · My copy is apparently a stereo first pressing 'variation A' copy with the 'Dr Robert' sleeve and 'Dr Robert' label typo and the early 'Love You To (sic) mis spelling. It's a mind bending feild of info on the Beatles stuff and collectors it sems can be very anal about such things!! Again, its a great LP and mine sounds tip top/5().

Jul 25,  · This release has Dr. Robert printed on the jacket and Doctor Robert printed on the record label. This is a 1st press variant B with the change of "Dr." - "Doctor". This probably occurred within a short time after the LP was first released. Still considered a 1st. There is also a 1st press Variation C/5().

Recording History. On April 16th, , which was the eighth recording session for what became the “Revolver” album, The Beatles entered EMI Studio Two for an eight hour recording session ( to pm) to concentrate solely on their new song “Dr. Robert.” All of the instruments for the song were recorded on this day, the rhythm track consisting of John on electric guitar, George.
